The following serve on our Board of Advisors and provide valuable insights and guidance to our management and portfolio companies:
William Houng-Lee – Senior Vice President, Outsourcing, Oracle Corp has been with Oracle for 15 years, holding a varied portfolio including Asia Finance Director, Finance Director (New Zealand) and Managing Director (Indonesia) and most recently, Managing Director (Malaysia). He has been involved in IT for 20 years. William holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Auckland University and is an Associate Chartered Accountant – New Zealand.
Andrew Tan – Managing Director, BearingPoint Inc. (formerly KPMG Consulting), Singapore, has been in consulting for over 17 years. After 11 years in Andersen Consulting, he left in 1994 to head Unisys Information Services in ASEAN and was Country Manager of Unisys Malaysia. He then joined IBM Global Services before rejoining Andersen Consulting in 1998. Andrew holds a BSc (Combined Honors) in Chemistry and Geology from Exeter University and an MBA from University of Aston in Birmingham, UK.
Chandran Perumal, Managing Director, MSTi Sdn Bhd, has over 20 years experience in the IT industry. Chandran was formerly the Managing Director for Sybase Malaysia and also the Sales Director of Oracle Malaysia. Chandran was instrumental in building Oracle’s business when it first started in Malaysia as a 2 man operations and in executing the strategy of building the direct and alliance operations in Malaysia.
Saibal Chowdhury, Director, Start-up Program, Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd, has 20 years of international executive and leadership experience in operations, technology management, consulting, entrepreneurial venture and technology finance in Information Technology, Tele Communication, Machine Tools and Engineering industries. His track record in R&D, marketing, business development, strategic alliances, consulting (IT strategy, product development and supply chain management), operations management and technology finance is with top firms like Larsen & Toubro Ltd, EMAG Maschinenfabrik GmbH, Hewlett-Packard Asia-Pacific Ltd and AT&T Asia-Pacific Ltd where he was directly responsible for strategy, profit contribution, and top line revenue. Saibal has lived and worked in Asia, EU and North America.
